Free drive-thru COVID-19 testing is available at Jim Miller Park for any symptomatic Cobb County resident. The testing is by appointment only and takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to noon. Testing is also available for potentially exposed healthcare workers, first responders, critical infrastructure workers, residents in long-term care facilities or group residential settings experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19.

Cobb & Douglas Public Health (CDPH) is expanding its drive-thru testing criteria at both the Jim Miller Park and Hunter Park testing sites to include the following people with symptoms:
- Healthcare workers
- First responders
- Other critical infrastructure workers
- Persons residing in long-term care facilities or other group residential settings
- Persons 65 years of age and older
- Persons with underlying medical conditions
- Household members or care givers of any of the groups above
- Persons with close contact with a known COVID-19 case
- Persons with mild symptoms in communities experiencing high numbers of COVID-19 hospitalizations
The following people without symptoms will also be tested as capacity allows:
- Healthcare workers
- First responders
- Other critical infrastructure workers that have been exposed to COVID-19
- Employees and residents of a long-term care facility or other group residential setting experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19
Do you qualify for testing? To see if you qualify for COVID-19 testing, contact your healthcare provider, a provider at a federally qualified healthcare center or complete an assessment at CDPHCOVID19testing.org or contact the CDPH Call Center at 770-514-2300. It will be determined if a test is needed and then you will be scheduled.
Please Note that testing is by appointment only and those who arrive without a pre-approved number from Cobb & Douglas Public Health will not be tested.
