The Acworth-Cobb Dragon Boat Festival is an annual event that takes place at Dallas Landing Park. The event features competitive races between teams of paddlers in long, narrow, 46-foot long boats decorated with dragon heads and tails. Dragon Boating is an up-and-coming sport, soon to be an Olympic sport.
In addition to the races, the festival also features live entertainment, food vendors, and a variety of family-friendly activities. The Acworth Dragon Boat Festival is a fun and exciting way to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and support the local community. It is a popular event for both participants and spectators and is a great way to experience the unique culture of Acworth and the surrounding area.
